It's me, Erika. Just a nerdy girl with a camera whose heart beats fiercely to make magic out of the ordinary.

If you would have told me when I was in college studying law that I would end up traveling the world and taking photos for a living, I would have never believed you. (Although you could have spared me several unnecessary degrees and a good amount of student loan debt. *facepalm*) But here I am, and I absolutely could not imagine doing anything else.

When I'm not taking photos, you can usually find me watching Jeopardy or the Golden Girls, singing Elton John into a kitchen spatula or reading a book on quantum mechanics.  I married my high school sweetheart, Trey,  in 2015 and we cannot stop adopting dogs. We're rolling 3 fur faces deep. I'm pretty much obsessed with them and they low-key (And when I say "low-key" what I really mean is "STRAIGHT UP") run our lives. So if you love dogs, 90s music or if you've never met a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon that you didn't like....

This may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

My priority as a photographer, first and foremost, is to capture moments that truly matter. Those raw fleeting moments that sideline the highlights. To me, its not just about the pictures, its about the feeling.

If you're just looking for a girl with a fancy camera, you've come to the wrong place. I want to capture all of the messy, authentic, in-between moments . Not just photos of your first dance with your dad, but photos of the tears on your moms face when she watched the two of you. I am not the right photographer for everyone and that is 110% ok. A traditional bride deserves a traditional photographer. My couples? They're the adventurers. The laid back, live for the moment kind of people. If you're the bride who gets her dress dirty and doesn't even bat an eye because you're so lost in the fun and magic of the moment then lets do this thing!
